Chermoula BBQ Chicken Breast

Everyone loves juicy succulent chicken breast, plus some crispy skin and that is what you get with this recipe. Perfect for that mid week meal or when entertaining with friends


  • 4 skin on chicken breast*
  • 2tbs Chermoula* spice mix
  • 1 tbs Cobram Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  • 1 lime, cut in wedges


  1. Heat BBQ grill over high heat. Drizzle chicken with olive oil, then sprinkle thigh with chermoula spice mix, coating well and massaging in with your hands until fully coated. 
  2. Place breast, skin side up onto BBQ grill/bars and cook lid down for 6-8 mins then flip, skin side down until crisp, lightly charred and cooked through*. Remove from heat, allow to rest. Serve with lime wedges. Enjoy with your choice of sides.


  • This recipe also works with chicken thigh fillet, or you could even use  a whole chicken and coat in spice mix and roast.
  • Chermoula is a North African spice blend comprising cumin, Paprika, Onion, Turmeric, Cayenne, Garlic, Parsley, Salt, Pepper, Coriander Leaves. 
  • To test if your chicken breast is cooked, use a meat thermometer, internal temperature of your chicken breast should reach 75C.
